Zouch Primary School learns banner making skills to celebrate Global Fortnight
Children at Zouch Primary School in Tidworth are looking forward to stretching their artistic talents on Wednesday 4th July.
Local Community Artists "Toozalii Arts" are spending the day with classes across the whole school working on enormous banners, which will be used on parade at the schools annual fundraising event on 11th July.
Toozalli Arts are renowned for their visually spectacular work having been involved in community parades across Wiltshire including Devizes Carnival and lantern festival and Lanterns for Salisbury at Christmas 2006.
Head teacher Tina Evans is delighted that she has been able to invite Toozalii as part of the school's global focus and commented:"We are looking forward to some spectacular results from our work with Toozalli. It's not everyday that parents and children have the chance to work with professional artists. I know we're going to have a great day!"
