People will be able to have their say on issues including lorries on local roads and waste collection at the next meeting of the Amesbury Area Board on February 11.
The meeting, which is open to all local people, is being held at Durrington Village Hall at 6pm with tea and coffeee being available from 5.30pm.
There will be an opportunity for local people to discuss the issue of large goods vehicles travelling through towns and villages on the A338 and A346. In addition, before and after the community area board meeting, council officers will be available to discuss the future options of waste and recycling collections. The meeting will also look at the development of the Stonehenge Community Area Partnership.
This will be the fifth time that the Amesbury Area Board has met since June 2009, following the re-organisation of local government in Wiltshire. Since that time, the board has provided the opportunity for residents in the Amesbury community area to voice their opinion on a range of different topics, and has awarded over £20,000 in funding for local community groups and organisations.
