TIDWORTH COMMUNITY AREA AWARDS 2009

For many years Castledown Radio has supported the Tidworth Area Community Awards.

We are the only radio station to cover Tidworth Area Community Awards and we are pleased to bring you exclusive coverage of this event, in a special 1-hour programme. You can listen to the programme by tuning in to 104.7fm on Wednesday 31st March at 5pm. Or tune in to hear the repeat on Saturday 01st April at 5pm.

This year’s Awards ceremony took place on Thursday 18th March at a new venue - the Ludgershall Sports And Social Club - and the evening was presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mr. John Bush OBE. Choirs from the local primary schools and also the Fijian community, performed folk songs and popular music, giving the event a further sense of occasion.
