 Happy pupils collecting their cheques
Tidworth Area Festival (TAF) has donated £75 to each of the seven schools in the Tidworth area. The Festival Committee decided, even though it did not make significant surplus from the 2006 event, small donations should be made in line with its constitution.
The schools that have benifited from the TAF donations are: Castledown; Clarendon Junior and Infants; Castle Primary; Collingbourne Primary; Shipton Bellinger and Zouch Primary.
Organisation of TAF 2007 is well in hand and there will be a wonderful range of attractions – including a fun fair, static displays, trade stands, and a free kids zone.
Also at TAF 2007 there will be a fantastic line-up on the main stage - Ben Mills, X Factor 2006 finalist on ITV, will be the headline act with his distinct style, together with other finalists from that competition – ‘Eton Road’, Ashley McKenzie, Dionne Mitchell and ‘4Sure’.
TAF 2007 will be held on Sunday 29 July 2007, at the tattoo ground in the grounds of Tedworth House, Tidworth, from 11.00am to 7.00pm. As well as the stage performances, there will be displays in the arena – including The Band of The Prince of Wales’s Division and a stunt rider jumping over vehicles.
