On the 26th May the youth of Ludgershall will be swapping their skate boards for running shoes to run 3 miles in aid of Ludgershall Skate Park. Joining them will be keen runner Max the dog who has been in training all year with owner John McConnell for this event. This will be the 11th Sponsored run Max has participated in. The run will set off at 1:00pm from the Queens Head in Ludgershall. Everyone participating in the run will receive certificates.
The Queens Head is holding a family fun day on 26th May to raise funds for the skate park project. There will be Karaoke and Skittles competitions sponsored by Sarsen housing association with trophies and certificates for the winners. Other events on the day include Irish Bingo, Fun with Bill, Raffle Prizes, Bouncy Castle, BBQ, Key Draw and much more. All proceeds from the event will go to the Ludgershall Skate Park Project.

The Ludgershall skate park project is a youth driven community project. The young people of Ludgershall have set up a committee to drive the project, chaired by Macauley Hollis, 11.
