Shipton Bellinger held it's annual fete day on the 13th June, under heavy clouds, in brilliant sunshine! Everyone had a great time, with stalls for the villagers to visit and arena events to watch and participate in.

The event was opened by local MP Sir George Young, and the arena events kicked off (literally) with the semi-final of the junior six a side football. Teams from Meerton, Durrington, Tidworth and Shipton Bellinger played some very entertaining football throughout the day.

Residents were also able to register their interest in an allotment in the village area, and visit the open garden at Badgers End, by kind permission of Mrs R Boniface, which was open in aid of the RNLI. The rain kept off all afternoon, and a great time was had by all!
