Sarsen Repairs Service Update - 13/1/10

 We won’t be able to run a normal home repairs service today because of the snow. If you had an appointment booked today, we may have to cancel it because the bad weather will delay repair workers as they travel to each job. Some roads may be closed or some homes impossible to reach, especially in rural areas. If you have a repair that could be dangerous if it isn’t fixed quickly, we’ll treat that as an absolute priority.

Today we’re phoning all our customers who have an appointment booked to let them know if we’ve got to cancel it. We’ll also make a new appointment for them at the same time.

If you have an emergency, you should still call the repairs call centre on: 0800 6 12 10 10. The lines may be busier than normal so if you’re call isn’t an emergency or urgent, it might be best to wait a few days before you phone us. We don’t know yet if the service will be back to normal by the end of the week, but we’ll keep you up-to-date.

Remember to take care if you’re out and about and try to look in on elderly or vulnerable neighbours to check they’re safe and well.
