Sarsen Housing encourage Tidworth folk to go green
Residents in Tidworth were treated to a unique event when Sarsen Housing Association laid on a special open day designed to encourage locals to think about their environment.
With their ‘Am I Bovvered’ theme, Sarsen employees asked locals what projects they would like to see happen to help make their area more environmentally friendly.
“We are running several of these events in the area, which will focus on a different theme each time. This particular event is aimed at the home and neighbourhood and letting people know how to save money and look after their environment. It’s also a good opportunity for Sarsen employees ask locals what they want and how we can improve things for them, we will then use that information to form partnerships with other organisations and develop projects in the future,” said Helen Dexter, from Sarsen Housing.

Keeping the children and the hungry bellies at bay, locals were encouraged to stay with the promise of free food and a bouncy castle, in addition to Castledown Radio providing the entertainment with its ‘Really Red Radio Show’.
