Refuse and recycling Easter Bank Holiday collections
Kennet District Council would like to remind all its residents that there will be no disruption to the Council’s refuse and recycling collection service over the Easter weekend as all our refuse and recycling crews will continue work on Good Friday and Easter Monday to ensure your refuse and recycling is collected as normal.
All wheeled bins, boxes and Council approved refuse sacks must be presented at the kerbside by 7.00am on collection day. Lids must be firmly closed with no side waste. Waste presented incorrectly will not be collected.
Residents are reminded that excess waste can also be taken to the Household Recycling Centres in Devizes and Everleigh. These sites also accept many materials for recycling, including cardboard and plastic
bottles.
Councillor Peter Evans, Environment Champion at Kennet said; “Kennet’s refuse and recycling crews will be working this Easter weekend to ensure that there is no confusion for residents about their collection days. Further details are also available on your refuse collection calendar or from the Council.”
