Saturday 22nd November saw the grand opening of the newly refurbished Spar shop at Pennings Road, in Tidworth.

The shop was opened by Town and District Councillor Andrew Connelly's parents, who cut the ribbon at 10am. During the day vistors to the shop were treated to wine tasting and the chance to win a flat screen TV. Meanwhile, younger visitors enjoyed a bouncy castle, face-painting and entertainment laid on by Castledown Radio.

The refurbished Spar shop was filled with visitors and the staff were very pleased with their new shop, which includes a full range of fresh produce, as well as sandwiches, drinks and all you would expect from your local store.
