Following months of campaigning by locals and a lot of hard work by Landlord George Humphreys, The Cross Keys Inn, Upper Chute finally opened its doors to the public on Saturday 4th March 2006.
Not to miss an opportunity to meet the locals, Baz Reilly from Tidworth Community Area’s broadcasting service, Castledown Radio, took his ‘Really Red Radio Roadshow’ while Tidworth Community Area’s learning information experts, Tempo Manager, Maria Hamblin and Learning Coordinator Shirley Swain set up a stand to promote learning opportunities to the punters.
