Nigel comes with 14 years police experience and is already familiar with the Tidworth area having previously worked at the station as a constable with the CID in 1997.

He is also an ex-soldier and served with the Royal Army Medical Corp during the first Gulf War.

"It's exciting to be back in Tidworth and with its military and civilian population it's a privilege to be part of policing such a diverse community. I have had the pleasure of serving here before, therefore I am already familiar with the area and indeed I'm sure some of the locals may even remember me," said Nigel.
