It's National Road Safety Week, and Castledown Radio have been investigating how we can help our kids stay safe. It is important that all adults both lead by example and teach today's generation of youngsters how to stay safe on the street's. Not everyone remembers Tufty, the Green Cross Code Man and more recently the hedgehogs.

Our children and grandchildren now have their own character in the shape of Hector, the 9 year old Aardman animated trendy kid.
