Ludgershall will for the first time in many years have a traditional Village Show this August, featuring over 130 classes of fruit, veg, flowers, cookery and handicrafts (including photography). Special classes have been arranged for the younger members of the community, including pictures, cooking and handicrafts. Ludgershall Village Show Organised by the Ludgershall Gardening Club, the event is planned to be fun, with no cost to enter the classes. All entrants will be numbered, so the judges will not know whose entries they are judging. If you want to support your village at this fun event you need to get a schedule from Brian, Roy or Jim (see poster above) or the allotment hut on a Sunday between 11.00 and 12 noon, and get your entries in before the deadline of the 27th August. Sound's like a long way away, but if you are growing or making something you need to get started right now! On the day the exhibits should be brought to the Ludgershall Scout Hall between 9am and 12 noon, with judging to take place between 12 noon and 2pm. The hall will be then opened to the entrants and the public for viewing from 2pm. Entry forms to be returned to the secretary Mr Brian Jarret at 1, St James St, Ludgershall, not later than 27th August. If you need help or an entry form please call Mr Roy Meyer on 07907 951 705.
