Wiltshire Council is offering junior netball players the opportunity to take part in a free netball coaching day in Salisbury on Sunday July 5. Delivered in partnership with Wiltshire Council, Blue Jays Netball Club and Salisbury Spirit Netball Club the day aims get girls interested in playing netball, outside of school, in the hope that they go on to join either Blue Jays or Salisbury Spririt netball clubs.
The day, which is being held at Five Rivers Leisure Centre in Salisbury between 10am and 2pm, is open to girls aged between 9 and 11 years (years 5 and 6). Both clubs would like more players of this age group. Those attending will need some experience of playing netball at school but it is more important that they are interested and committed to playing the sport.
All places will be allocated on first come first serve basis and should be booked by Friday 26 June. Both netball clubs train on a weekly basis.
