LOCALS from Tidworth and Ludgershall are being invited to tune their
tonsils and take part in two Carol Singing events to raise money for charity.
Open to the young and old, residents can accompany a quintet of the ‘Prince
of Wales Band' for a fanfare of Christmas carols, guaranteed to get even
grumpiest humbug into the festive mood.
In addition, the tins will be out to raise much needed cash for
Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Following on from previous successes, Community Development Coordinator,
Hilary Hollinsworth said:
"This has become a regular
feature in Tidworth & Ludgershall and we look forward to another successful
year."
The first session will take place on Wednesday 10th December
at 6.00pm outside the Tesco on Station
Road, Tidworth, followed by a further session at
7.00pm outside Tesco's, Ludgershall.
It's then over to the Church Rooms for well-earned mince pies, mulled
wine, tea and coffee.
