Firstly, the environment – David Wildman for his work on the Rubbish Awareness Project over the last two years which strived to raise awareness of the need to reduce the amount of rubbish, re-cycle where possible and look after the environment. As chairman of the Housing & Built Environment working group he worked hard to improve the street scene in Station Road. As Chairman of the local Chamber of Commerce he is very keen to raise awareness of Tidworth and its commercial profile. |

The Paul Oatway Shield is given to someone who has made a significant contribution to young people in his community. In this regard Chris Stock through his involvement in the life of the Chutes - the church, the village hall, the Chute Chronicle and the website and especially the Cricket Club, has worked with all sectors of the community ensuring that cohesion and community spirit are fostered. |

The Tidworth Community Area Partnership shield is awarded this year to someone who has been has been working here in Tidworth for the past 18 years for the benefit of children and their families - Gill Cockerton. The success of the ‘Opportunity Group and the opportunities the new building has provided are complemented by the support she has given to colleagues and organisations locally. |

For his service to the local community - in practical ways, time and experience - to both Ludgershall and Tidworth over many years, John Newman has demonstrated his commitment and service. |

Finally the Tidworth Development Trust Shield was awarded to Wally and Barbara Long for their long time support of many of the organisations and groups in Chute both as committee members, organisers and supporters. |
