Tackling the issues and bugbears of Army life is no mean feat, but the Editor of the Army Families  Federation Journal (AFJ) Catherine Moss and her team, manage to do just that - four times a year, by producing a magazine packed full of articles and features, tailored to the needs of service personnel and their families.

Castledown Radio’s Shirley Swain made a special visit to AFJ HQ, at Trenchard Lines, Upavon, to find out what readers can expect in the summer edition of the AF Journal.

“This really is a great publication, and although it is produced specifically for Army families; much of the information often applies to civilian life”, said Shirley.
