It was a night of glitz and glamour at Castle Primary School, as pupils held their annual 'Wannabes' competition.

Organised by teachers, teaching assistants and members of the PTA, parents were treated to a selection of pop hits from Amy Winehouse, Spice Girls and Nickelback, accompanied by live dance routines from the kids themselves.

Year 6 pupil, Katrina Macdonald, was the overall winner with her performance as Amy Macdonald. An enjoyable evening was had by all.
