Breaking Down The Barriers - A Disability Awareness Event

This event involves people with disabilities and their support groups from all over Wiltshire, all getting together under one roof. come and help us to Break down the Barriers on Monday 4 December in the Civic Hall, Trowbridge from 12noon - 6pm.
This date is timed to coincide with the launch of the Council Disability Equality Schemes on 4th December and the International Day of Disabled Persons on 3rd December.
As well as information displays there will be a programme of interactive disability awareness workshops, performances by a famous comedian, Laurence Clark, and disability-related activities/challenges provided by disability support groups, carers, disabled people, council staff and local businesses. The idea is to have fun whether you have a disability or not.
