Army Families Federation – Conference 22nd June 2006
The Army Families Federation (AFF) is a registered charity, which represents British Army families around the world and provides crucial links between the top decision makers in the Army and service families.
On 22nd June, AFF is holding its annual conference, which is due to take place at the Institute of Education in London.
This event has continually proved popular and attracts many members of the military community. It is a chance for families to get answers straight from politicians and military top brass on issues currently affecting the Army.
Rachael Troughton, AFF's Director of Communications
Rachael Troughton is AFF’s Director of Communications, she said: “The conference is a very stressful event to put on for us here at HQ, however it’s very well worth it; getting a panel together who have the power to make changes and who will be expecting to take on some very tough questions from the audience. This year we have two facilitators in place, one is Patrick Eade from British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) and the other is Dermot Murnaghan from the BBC, who will ensure that both the panel and the attendees get an opportunity to have their say.”
